Thanks.
I have a friend in Mexico. He went to the ER once with chest pain and they didn’t do an EKG or labs. Also no biopsy for a suspicious lesion. There is no MRI machine in his small city. Anecdotally, it seems as if their health care delivery is subpar, but I don’t claim to be an expert.
We don't have the age break down of the people who died in Mexico.

It could be but viral scientists have expected this sort of variant to be created naturally sooner or later.
“Thank your local quickie mart illegals for this one.”
Yup.
According to this (on Drudge's page):
The majority of the people killed in Mexico's fatal flu outbreak were adults between 25 and 45 years old, a Mexican health official said on Friday.
“Im starting to think about that animation sequence from Congo (?)”
That was “Outbreak”, not “Congo.”
I don't think we have an age breakdown case by case but even last night Mexican authorities were referring to the 25-44 y.o. category as the hardest hit.
It might be a good time to stock up on paper masks to cover your nose and mouth. If this gets bigger and gets a lot of media attention, there will surely be a run on these masks. Home Depot and Lowe’s stock them in the paint section.
Do the paper masks keep viruses out?
Make sure they are N95. “Dust masks” do no good. Hardware and paint stores do carry the good ones. I prefer a respirator with N95 cartridges myself.
I recall reading somewhere, that the 1918 influenza was preceded by a less deadly flu in the spring of 1918, and some think it may have mutated into the deadlier one that killed so many people later that year.
My great-grandfather died in the epidemic. Came through the war without a scratch, in his early 20’s, came home, took sick one day in October and died the very next day.
That’s what I was wondering, too....my husband said I should start writing for The Enquirer upon hearing my theory....LOL
most were 25 to 45 (9 yrs to 54 years old in all)
Yeah, she was better in breakfast club.
Use saline nasal drops....keeps your sinuses more protected...
Isn’t it true though that most died of secondary bacterial infections??
Nope, has to a NR95 I believe.
