67 votes are needed in the Senate to ratify so there’s no way.
Basically it sounds like another swipe at ammo by making all ammo manufacture traceable via some sort of stamping which would make for a record keeping nightmare. I believe by law all firearms or at least certain components produced in the US already must have a serial number. 0bama’s gonna try to chip away incrementally using a number of different angles.

I will not obey a foreign law that impedes the 2nd Amendment, just as i wouldn’t obey a Chinese or EU restriction on my first amendment free speech. Obama is not an American by culture, no matter where he was born. He must be opposed and endured until we can rid ourselves of him and his powerbase in congress.

Great sentiment, but misses the point of our opponent's approach. They won't come for yours, they will just make sure manufacturers won't sell any more to you. Throttle the source of consumables, make new models unavailable, and soon the market will whither to just a few old overpriced underfed items. Sure, exercise that right - but there won't be more. BHO et al will be content with you holling up in a closet with your tightly-held stash, as you effectively remove yourself from society and your arms from circulation.
Prohibition didn’t work and neither will this. As long as there is a demand for firearms, people will continue to make/sell/profit from it even if it is without the consent of the government.
Fabricating your own firearm is not illegal as long as it’s for personal use. This will be a boom for the tooling industry as people will be buying up lathes and what ever is needed to make their own.
But I don’t think Ø will be able to get it passed so he’ll still have to suck eggs.
