Or rather, almost nothing. She admits she was told that waterboarding could be used but insists she was never told it would be used, which I can only take to mean she was sufficiently comfortable with the practice in theory as not to call a halt to it in the conceptual stage.

Sort of reminds me of Sen. Daschle, shortly after the 911 attacks, complaining that he was never told about any security bunker/shadow-government for government leaders. Then, someone informed him that ‘he was standing in it’.
These politicians (both parties) lie and expect everyone to have short memories.
Heck, we see now that Team Bush (GW, Paulson, etc.) were lying to the American people during all of 2008 — because technically, the recession began in Dec 2007. I recall Bush and Paulson making several tv appearances during the spring of 2008 with their ‘all is well, the economy is sound’ speeches. They were just hoping to fend it off until January 20, 2009, but the housing bubble burst and exposed them as frauds.
Fair warning to Republicans: DO NOT LET THE DEMOCRATS SET UP A BI-PARTISN 911 STYLE witch hunt. You will have and Arlen Spector and Collins on there with seven full fledged, lying, theiving communists.

we were warned that there “could” be a housing crash (Fannie,Freddie etc....), not that there “would” be a housing crash. Sounds kina preposterous doesn’t it Nancy.
