AFA seems to be a sincere organization, but I don’t like there attempt to co-op the Tea Party Movement by claiming they are sponsoring the 4th of July events. The are simply sponsoring a listing of these events and they should be called to task on this.

We are planning a tea party on May 30, the original Memorial Day, here in Wasilla. Details will follow.

This could possibly be a mistake, IMHO. It will be a holiday, a family holiday. Even this last protest was held on a Wed, after work and probably could have drawn 2x as much on a weekend. On July 4th, I think most people will be shooting fireworks and eating brisket. You never know, but I don't think alot of people will sacrifice their holiday for a protest. I hope I'm wrong.

I hope so too, hope folks make it a family event. The Boston one should be good, I’ll hang around for the fireworks later that night!

I agree with you on this one. Our family will not be able to participate on the 4th. I think Memorial Day weekend would be much better.

Hmmm. Seems that Warner Robins wants to keep theirs a secret, it’s never listed on any list, but we did have a Tea Party on April 15, well attended too.
Another one is planned for July 4, but of course, no one is hearing about it, it’s not listed anywhere. :(
