If you need your patriotic batteries recharged, your faith renewed, and your vision rekindled, watch these two videos:
Ill ignore the pointless and self serving portions of your last post in favor of the only real point you made.
>>> “What condescending BS. In America, the way you oppose a corrupt federal government, is to get your side elected to office and get your ideas turned into legislation. Either you engage in civil discourse, or you mount a revolt. The latter seems to be your chosen method, not mine. Crying about how mean and nasty the world is, solves nothing and serves no good purpose.”
The ENTIRE f-—ing point is that THAT is not POSSIBLE any more... There are MANY reasons for this, the top one being that MARXISTS are busy reforming this nation into f-—ing Venezuela. Another HUGE reason is that a SIZABLE portion of this population is OK with that.
People like you give lip service to the concepts of freedom and liberty, but whats really important to you is process. Freedom isnt worth it to you unless its obtained through your approved process. Thats your ENTIRE twisted point... Your content to “struggle” FOREVER with your policies and process. Sure, you’ll bitch about being a slave to the collective but you’ll still be content with the process..
To me, freedom is more than just the result of a well played game or expertly tweaked process. Its something that I wont live without for very long after noticing its gone. I honestly do not give a sh_t about what you believe to be the acceptable process to obtaining that which should JUST BE INHERENT!!!
Ignoring the truth doesn't change the facts.
From all your doom and gloom posts you clearly have no idea what is possible or impossible. You act like you're 12 years old, playing Paul Revere in a school play, warning people about Marxists, socialists, etc etc etc. LOL Well, you're a little late for that. The alarm was sounded many years ago by many good folks and by many FReepers around this forum, myself included.
You live in the best country on Earth and the greatest nation in history. Yet you act like all hope is lost and America is doomed. Pure hogwash. If you really believe that, leave the US and let the adults do the heavy lifting.
More importantly, you offer no solutions. None, whatsoever. You're posts are a perpetual rant, that culminates in condemning FReepers for not acknowledging your rhetorical outbursts as the final word in free speech.
The Founding Fathers created a system of governing and politics that is the envy of the world and for the last 232 its worked very well. In your world, however, there is no room for Tea Party protests, debate and discussion on world wide internet forums, advancinmg conservatism, defending the Constitution, promoting liberty or the best sign of a free people --- democratic elections. What you call, lip service. Do you realize how dumb that sounds?
So I guess you're left with two options. You can continue to run around, bitching and complaining, or you can embrace the only other viable choice left to you --- armed revolt.
Then again, maybe you're ready to lie down and die. For the vast majority of Americans, that is not an viable option.
lol
Nevermind... Id rather beat my head against a wall than continue this.
BTW... Armed revolution isnt my choice, secession is. But you know that, and chose to state otherwise anyway which means your dishonest in your arguments.
Ill expect you to eat crow when the health care and oil industries are nationalized. Or will you just rationalize that away as well? (/rhetorical question)
Something tells me, you've been doing that you're whole life. If disagreement on the relative facts you keep spewing to adnauseam was an issue, I would have said so by now.
Again, you offer no rational solutions, no viable alternatives, no logical proposals. You bring absolutely nothing to the debate. Zero, zilch, zippo, nada!!!
>>>>>BTW... Armed revolution isnt my choice, secession is. But you know that...
Never entered my mind and for good reason. This is the very first time you've mentioned secession. You really think there are enough people in your state that will support your desire to have Wisconsin secede from the union? You're living in the outer limits of the twilight zone.
Sigh.
OK... Based on this comment...
“Something tells me, you’ve been doing that you’re whole life. If disagreement on the relative facts you keep spewing to adnauseam was an issue, I would have said so by now.”
I am left to assume that we do not disagree on specific facts.
1. Marxists now control practically every branch of government. Whether this is do to ACORN and voter fraud, an ignorant electorate, a sympathetic electorate or a combination of all these is irrelevant. The fact remains that the “American” people placed marxists in control of this nation through a presidential election and various congressional elections.
2. Those same marxists are in the process of “shaping” this country in their own image. via epic spending, bailouts, nationalization of industries, etc... Its debatable whether or not they were also the architects of the “financial crisis” that has empowered them to slam the throttle to the floor. They are doing what marxists do in every nation they gain a foothold.
3. The NEA and Government schools k-12 through the universities, are literally pumping out people that are ignorant. The indoctrination of the population starts here. Please see the speech William Ayers gave while in Venezuela concerning this topic. Our kids grow up into adults having this crap beat into their heads.
4. The media. Movies, TV, Theatre, News, Periodicals, video games, etc... an endless stream of propaganda in the form of entertainment or news is being fed to the “masses” every minute of every day. This just reinforces the “legitimacy” of the leftist indoctrination they received through out school. The result of this was the election of marxists to every branch of government. Zero could not have won that election without the aid of the media and the willingness of the population to “believe”. This is the most effective and pervasive propaganda machine ever built.
5. Election laws, fuggetaboutit... We all know that they are designed to empower vote fraud, by those willing to do so. As long as the correct ideology is committing the fraud no attention will brought to it by the media.
6. Entitlement junkies. Their numbers grow every single day. People who become dependent upon the government for their livelihood, health care, etc... millions of these people exist and as new entitlements are rolled out millions more will be added to their numbers. These people will not give up what they are getting for “free” and they are a big part of the reason no politician will survive (politically) actions to remove those entitlements. (please see the “whither on the vine” comment in regards to Social Security)
There are plenty more but I assume that we at least partially agree with the factual bullet points just listed.
My entire argument is based on a simple point. I believe that given the above stated facts that the marxist movement with this nation has reached “critical mass”. It sustains itself through constant feedback (schools and media). The percentage of the population willing to support ideas that once repulsed people of this nation is significant and always expanding.
Through the corruption of language and concepts, principles such as freedom and liberty are understood to mean the choice to abort your baby, or which restaurant to eat at or what appendage you can pierce. The definition of freedom and liberty which holds that each individual is sovereign has been wiped out. That is why people are ok with the income tax and only quibble about the percentage. Its why people are ok with having every aspect of their lives regulated and taxed. They just dont see these as effecting their corrupted idea of “freedom”.
It is for these reasons that I say it is impossible to regain REAL freedom and liberty for the individual without removing ourselves from their influence. Any politician who even suggests the elimination of SS or any other socialist “institution” is instantly attacked via every avenue that effects “public opinion”, relentlessly, until the political career is over or the politician recants. Even the most popular of elected officials cannot withstand the whithering effect on “public opinion” that takes place when the PR machine is set in gear. They learned their lesson from RR and it will not happen again.
I recognize that you and others do not see it this way and that is a source of frustration for me. I see it as a waste of resources and time, neither of which we have in great quantity , and that puts me into direct confrontation with those that should be friends or at the very least allies. That is what passion does to you...
On to the point regarding secession... lol.. if you had actually gone back and read my previous posts instead of just glancing briefly at some passages out of some here and there, you would know that I have no illusions about states like Wisconsin. You would also know that I am misplaced Texan. ;)
Do I really want to see some states secede? well. it depends on what is meant by that. I DO want states to reaffirm their sovereignty under the 10th in ways that are meaningful and have “teeth” . I want them to shield their citizens from every usurpation of power by the federal government. I want them to nullify every single unconstitutional law, regulation and tax imposed by the fed gov on the states and its citizens. Would that be considered a secession? perhaps by the fed gov it would be...
I think its time for the states to step up and take back the power they gave up. They are the last constitutional solution to this, and they need to re assume the place that was intended for them in this union. Perhaps for the reasons I gave above, it wont be possible even in the states, but there is a far better chance of effecting the population of a state like Texas than an entire nation.
There it is... thats the honest truth without bluster, hyperbole, political calculation, or any other argumentative tactic. Take it as you please.
One more time, mister dense. Stating the obvious doesn't make you some great icon of free speech. And knocking level headed conservatives who see your remarks as nothing more than BS, is irrational, illogical and places your viewpoint in the ultra minority --- the fringe minority.
Your answer to all the problems we face in America today, is for Wisconsin (and other states) to secede from the union. The last time that was tried, we had a Civil War and over 600K Americans died. To say mass secession would lead to armed conflict is not based on personaql opinion, but hardcore historical facts.
>>>>>There it is... thats the honest truth without bluster, hyperbole, political calculation, or any other argumentative tactic. Take it as you please.
I choose not to take it, I'll just leave it. More of the same bunkum from you. Doom and gloom. No thanks.
The irony of this comment:
“LOL You’re a glutton for punishment. Not to mention someone with poor reading comprehension skills.”
Is STAGGERING...
Based on my initial comment...
“On to the point regarding secession... lol.. if you had actually gone back and read my previous posts instead of just glancing briefly at some passages out of some here and there, you would know that I have no illusions about states like Wisconsin.”
And subsequent comments...
“Do I really want to see some states secede? well. it depends on what is meant by that. I DO want states to reaffirm their sovereignty under the 10th in ways that are meaningful and have teeth . I want them to shield their citizens from every usurpation of power by the federal government. Your reading comprehension “skills” produced this:
“Your answer to all the problems we face in America today, is for Wisconsin (and other states) to secede from the union.”
...
*smirk*
Your not as good at this as you think your are.. lol
Right. I'm better!
The content of our exchanges aren't limited to the last post you made to me, or vise versa. Its inclusive of all your posts to me and all my posts to you. The first 4 replies you made to me didn't mention anything about "succession". Then in RE:#43 you decided it was time to reveal your big secret solution to all America's current problems --- succession. You even inferred I knew that, "BTW... Armed revolution isnt my choice, secession is. But you know that."
Again, I can't read minds.
In RE:#45 you went on and on about the same crap, again and again, then you posted the following:
>>>>>On to the point regarding secession... lol.. if you had actually gone back and read my previous posts instead of just glancing briefly at some passages out of some here and there, you would know that I have no illusions about states like Wisconsin. You would also know that I am misplaced Texan. ;)
Since you never mentioned to me the word "succession" or "secede" until your RE:#43, it would be impossible for me to know WTF you're talking about. And somehow I was suppose to know, you're a "misplaced Texan"?
Again, I don't read minds and I don't understand mumbo-jumbo, which you seem to sprinkle throughout your posts.
One reason why I was so persistent with you, was my desire to find out what your agenda really was. You perked my curiosity with your hollow and ongoing rants and raves. In the end, you finally gave it up. You're a secessionist. Took you long enough. LOL
I'm not into playing games, but I do enjoy exposing fringe malcontents like you. If you have something new to add to the debate, post it. Otherwise, you've worn out your welcome with me.
oh good god...
*snort* lol
You outed me.... /facepalm
*giggle*
You should have at least taken the time to read through at least a little of my recent posting history...
Good job officer Fife!
rofl
I’ve just finished part 1 - he could be talking about what is happening today rather than 1980. History repeats itself - how little the American people have learned in 28 years time.
Just wow!!! Boggles the mind on how much this fits in today's Governmental belief system permeating our nation. Where oh where is a man like Reagon to remind Americans of this fact?
