>>>>>Id rather beat my head against a wall....

Something tells me, you've been doing that you're whole life. If disagreement on the relative facts you keep spewing to adnauseam was an issue, I would have said so by now.

Again, you offer no rational solutions, no viable alternatives, no logical proposals. You bring absolutely nothing to the debate. Zero, zilch, zippo, nada!!!

>>>>>BTW... Armed revolution isnt my choice, secession is. But you know that...

Never entered my mind and for good reason. This is the very first time you've mentioned secession. You really think there are enough people in your state that will support your desire to have Wisconsin secede from the union? You're living in the outer limits of the twilight zone.

Sigh.

OK... Based on this comment...

“Something tells me, you’ve been doing that you’re whole life. If disagreement on the relative facts you keep spewing to adnauseam was an issue, I would have said so by now.”

I am left to assume that we do not disagree on specific facts.

1. Marxists now control practically every branch of government. Whether this is do to ACORN and voter fraud, an ignorant electorate, a sympathetic electorate or a combination of all these is irrelevant. The fact remains that the “American” people placed marxists in control of this nation through a presidential election and various congressional elections.

2. Those same marxists are in the process of “shaping” this country in their own image. via epic spending, bailouts, nationalization of industries, etc... Its debatable whether or not they were also the architects of the “financial crisis” that has empowered them to slam the throttle to the floor. They are doing what marxists do in every nation they gain a foothold.

3. The NEA and Government schools k-12 through the universities, are literally pumping out people that are ignorant. The indoctrination of the population starts here. Please see the speech William Ayers gave while in Venezuela concerning this topic. Our kids grow up into adults having this crap beat into their heads.

4. The media. Movies, TV, Theatre, News, Periodicals, video games, etc... an endless stream of propaganda in the form of entertainment or news is being fed to the “masses” every minute of every day. This just reinforces the “legitimacy” of the leftist indoctrination they received through out school. The result of this was the election of marxists to every branch of government. Zero could not have won that election without the aid of the media and the willingness of the population to “believe”. This is the most effective and pervasive propaganda machine ever built.

5. Election laws, fuggetaboutit... We all know that they are designed to empower vote fraud, by those willing to do so. As long as the correct ideology is committing the fraud no attention will brought to it by the media.

6. Entitlement junkies. Their numbers grow every single day. People who become dependent upon the government for their livelihood, health care, etc... millions of these people exist and as new entitlements are rolled out millions more will be added to their numbers. These people will not give up what they are getting for “free” and they are a big part of the reason no politician will survive (politically) actions to remove those entitlements. (please see the “whither on the vine” comment in regards to Social Security)

There are plenty more but I assume that we at least partially agree with the factual bullet points just listed.

My entire argument is based on a simple point. I believe that given the above stated facts that the marxist movement with this nation has reached “critical mass”. It sustains itself through constant feedback (schools and media). The percentage of the population willing to support ideas that once repulsed people of this nation is significant and always expanding.

Through the corruption of language and concepts, principles such as freedom and liberty are understood to mean the choice to abort your baby, or which restaurant to eat at or what appendage you can pierce. The definition of freedom and liberty which holds that each individual is sovereign has been wiped out. That is why people are ok with the income tax and only quibble about the percentage. Its why people are ok with having every aspect of their lives regulated and taxed. They just dont see these as effecting their corrupted idea of “freedom”.

It is for these reasons that I say it is impossible to regain REAL freedom and liberty for the individual without removing ourselves from their influence. Any politician who even suggests the elimination of SS or any other socialist “institution” is instantly attacked via every avenue that effects “public opinion”, relentlessly, until the political career is over or the politician recants. Even the most popular of elected officials cannot withstand the whithering effect on “public opinion” that takes place when the PR machine is set in gear. They learned their lesson from RR and it will not happen again.

I recognize that you and others do not see it this way and that is a source of frustration for me. I see it as a waste of resources and time, neither of which we have in great quantity , and that puts me into direct confrontation with those that should be friends or at the very least allies. That is what passion does to you...

On to the point regarding secession... lol.. if you had actually gone back and read my previous posts instead of just glancing briefly at some passages out of some here and there, you would know that I have no illusions about states like Wisconsin. You would also know that I am misplaced Texan. ;)

Do I really want to see some states secede? well. it depends on what is meant by that. I DO want states to reaffirm their sovereignty under the 10th in ways that are meaningful and have “teeth” . I want them to shield their citizens from every usurpation of power by the federal government. I want them to nullify every single unconstitutional law, regulation and tax imposed by the fed gov on the states and its citizens. Would that be considered a secession? perhaps by the fed gov it would be...

I think its time for the states to step up and take back the power they gave up. They are the last constitutional solution to this, and they need to re assume the place that was intended for them in this union. Perhaps for the reasons I gave above, it wont be possible even in the states, but there is a far better chance of effecting the population of a state like Texas than an entire nation.

There it is... thats the honest truth without bluster, hyperbole, political calculation, or any other argumentative tactic. Take it as you please.
