Maybe he had his pants down to administer a Valium enema (the way Marilyn Monroe died).

I don’t believe in Suicide and I am sorry that he did this when he would have made a much bigger ‘splash’ if he had told everything he knows. At least before hand if he was of a mind to hang himself anyway.
But that said, do we now put Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Chris Dodd, Charles Schumer, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid on “Suicide Watch?” Wonder if any of them will copy-cat.

Yep, he accidentally duct-taped his mouth, his feet, and his hands behind his back. Then, with a rope around his neck, he accidentally pushed the stool he was standing on. (satire)
Who said there WAS a stool he was standing on? If it's accidental hanging, either before or after he duct taped himself, he used the pulley system to hoist his body up and wound the rope around his duct taped hands to keep from falling back to the floor.
(more satire)

I’m confused. When does the “allegedly” description apply? Is he allegedly dead? Did he allegedly commit suicide? Was he allegedly the CFO of Freddie mac?

This mindless speculation, and discussion of early reports is often the only insight we have before the evidence is wiped by the feds.

Somebody broke into his house, grabbed him out of his bed, dragged him down to the basement, and the wife never woke up. Get a grip. No.no.no... he would have been in his pajamas if that were the case.

And since you have so much knowledge of this incident, at what time was he drapped down to the basement? Was it befroe he went to bed, with his wife and daughter going to bed much earlier? Was he wearing PJs?

When a man in a top position in life commits suicide like that, something is VERY wrong. I guess we’ll all know in a few months and go through some horrific financial suffering.

Not very many were aware of the circumstances. Just suicide.
