Disenfranchised and disrespected. From my feeble mind, here is what I see going on. The new govt is spending way too much money that our grandkids will be burdend with. And it’s all make work junk. Won’t stimilate anything except our tax burden. Our president is getting in our face with “We won”. The message to us is sit down and shut up. Deal with it. They are looking to disarm American citizens at a time when crime is going up due to a downturn in the economy. There is a good chance that Mexico is going to spiral out of control, and the govt is labeling US as potential terrorists. Obama is sucking up to Chavez who is sucking up to Iran. We see all these things going on and we wonder, what country am I living in. It appears that the Constitution is endangered by people we elected to run the country. Our elected govt is pushing our economy to a state run institution and there are a lot of us that know they can’t run anything effectivly. Freddie and Fannie are great examples. This new govt is targeting American citizens who do not agree with them. Never before can I remember a political party in charge target the people who make the country work. We do our jobs, pay our taxes, stay out of trouble and try to make this country better off for our kids futures. But now, we have a govt that is working to destroy everything that makes this country great and replace it with policies and practices that have failed every time they have been tried. We are tired of being targeted and insulted. The tea parties were an initial steam release. I do not expect this govt to back off.

“I do not expect this govt to back off.”

I wholeheartedly agree. The left will use the years to the next elections to entrench themselves, not just in elective office, but at all levels of the many bureaucracies.

Nothing short of uncivil action will return this country to the Constitution, as written. Too many voters are not adversely impacted by taxes, so they vote for the most “entitling” candidate.

Semper Fi, Texas Forever.

You captured my feelings very accurately- Buckwheat is not gonna back off, and I expect the tea parties to continue and evolve.

You got it in a nut shell, good citizen.

Were getting a New Government, and it has all the answers. Our input is not required (or welcomed)

_______________and I don’t expect the citizens to back off either. The government pushed too much, they may end up regretting it. Their numbers are small compared to the millions of mad Americans and I can assure you, it is NOT only Republicans. Go to DU and read, they are pissed as well.
