The religious right, which vehemently opposed Rudy Giulianis 2008 bid for the Republican presidential nomination, is rallying to the former New York mayors defense against attacks from gay rights groups.
The skirmish began when Giuliani in an interview with the New York Post opposed New York Gov. David Paterson's proposed gay marriage bill and asserted it would spark a backlash against Democrats. ....[S]ocial conservatives are applauding him for his stance on an issue over which they have often been at odds with him.

Even Tony Perkins, president of the influential Family Research Council and an outspoken critic of Giulianis social views, commended his recent comments albeit in a slightly backhanded manner.

In fact, Giuliani has opposed same-sex marriage since at least his aborted 2000 Senate run against Hillary Clinton. But he hasnt spotlighted the issue or his other social views, many of which are far to the left of the Republican activists who play a major role in deciding early presidential nominating contests.

“A gun grabbing, pro-gay, pro-abort, wishy-washy on taxes and yoon-yuns, statist cross-dressing whore HAS BEEN may win the votes of corrupt clergy, but will not win the vote of THIS agnostic.
Rudy is about as Christian as I am, ie not very. Why anyone could take this greaseball seriously after his clownish “all on Florida” campaign is beyond me.
I’ve noticed that Rudybots who just signed up have been posting alot as of late.”
greaseball??? really as a guinea from nj i find that highly offensive
look we all believe in the same principles...just because we don’t look like jeff foxworthy doesn’t mean we can’t be conservatives...you do realize independence started in the northeast right?? do you guys ever want to win the northeast like reagan and h.w. bush did ever again? stop with the narrow mindedness
i’m probably way more conservative than you
Darn those gay jihadists!
Since I’ve never seen one, maybe you could help point them out?
2. Rudy is NOT conservative in any way. He is essentially a "lawr and or-dah" Democrat, with Eurofascist tendencies.
Governor of New York, maybe. GOP nomination for Pres, I DON'T THINK SO!
Don’t worry, you’re doing your part to help them out.
I just prayed for healing for your shift key so you can use capital letters.
And, just fyi - this is not a Rudy friendly board.
You’re dodging the question.
I’ve asked for your help in seeing those darn jihadists that are making America a sharia-compliant state by removing marriage from the hands of the government.
I’d think that you’d want to help me see the light... and get another convert to your belief. It shouldn’t be all that hard to do, right?
I’m just in awe of your big plans to remove government from marriage by simply eliminating the certificate of marriage.
Why, you should think about suggesting the elimination of IRS 1040 form and save us all from income tax.
Youre dodging the question.
Ive asked for your help in seeing those darn jihadists that are making America a sharia-compliant state by removing marriage from the hands of the government.
Id think that youd want to help me see the light... and get another convert to your belief. It shouldnt be all that hard to do, right?
Why so insistent? You’re views are the in the majority. 40 percent of children are born out of wedlock and going up.
You’re sure the government will be backing out of everyone’s personal lives at any minute. Things are getting better in this country just as you say they will, right?
Heavens, according to your position, all the evidence is against my view. What more do you need from me?
Youre *still* dodging the question.

Here are some answers for you - you should read the entire article:
Judaism’s Sexual Revolution: Why Judaism Rejected Homosexuality
DENNIS PRAGER
...This revolution consisted of forcing the sexual genie into the marital bottle. It ensured that sex no longer dominated society, heightened male-female love and sexuality (and thereby almost alone created the possibility of love and eroticism within marriage), and began the arduous task of elevating the status of women.
It is probably impossible for us, who live thousands of years after Judaism began this process, to perceive the extent to which undisciplined sex can dominate man’s life and the life of society. Throughout the ancient world, and up to the recent past in many parts of the world, sexuality infused virtually all of society...

Which doesn't mention a thing about having civil laws enacted by a secular legislature filled with corrupt politicians... deciding how the rule of marriage applies to all Americans.
THAT was determined over 3000 years ago. Why you'd want to dig it back up and place it in the hands of politicians...
And youre *STILL* dodging the question.

How many kids do you have outside of wedlock?
I still like Rudy. Unpopular opinion here and with libs, but I like him.
Maybe because some of us Conservatives think he rocks?
He ain’t perfect, that’s for sure. Name me one politician who is. I would have happily voted for him in November. But we had McCain who I also voted for only to keep Obama out of the WH.
Whether you want to believe it or not, Rudy is well liked here in my area and considered a successful Republican Mayor of NYC.
The MSM hates him, the libs hate him. Some of us Conservatives like him.
Rudy Guiliani did wonderful things for NYC. He rocked as Mayor.
No, I didn’t agree with everything he did but trust he’d run this Country well as he loves this Country and doesn’t give a damn about the MSM or any foreign nations.
I didn’t agree with everything about Reagan either but consider him the best President of the 20th Century. Reagan’s personal life wasn’t all that great either but it didn’t matter. The man was a leader and led this Country. IMO of course :)
Wrong. Equating Islam and the Culture in this topic is just silly, imo.
Oooh. Meant to post to you that I was wrong about the Rizzo/Goode election. Can’t find it now but I was wrong in what I posted to you concerning the Rizzo/Goode mayoral race.
Not a Rudybot, just like what Rudy did for NYC. Especially liked him during and after 9-11. He ain’t perfect but I would have happily voted for him in the Primary but he dropped out and only McCain, Huckabee, and Romney were left. Rudy wasn’t my first choice but McCain, Huck, and Romney weren’t in the top three either.
