Sorry, you wouldn't even see good ol Sol that long ago! The M13 cluster is 25,000 light years away. That means it takes 25,000 years for light to travel from there to here, and vice versa of course. The Sun has been around for close to 5 billion years. That large number I referred to was the *distance* (in miles) to M13.
