Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn said he would advise his officers to question anyone out in public with a gun. He went on to say that "If my officers see someone walking around the City of Milwaukee with a firearm openly displayed, it borders on irresponsible if I were to communicate to members of my community that they can carry that firearm with impunity."

Maybe we should just disarm the police, then see what they have to say.
I’m not sure why it would “border” on irresponsible.
Seems to me that the carrier is ultimately responsible and the irresponsible one would be any idiot who tries to take the gun away from the carrier.
OK, so his officers are going to spend all day asking each other questions???
So what’s he gonna do about multitudes of small groups of armed citizens who stick up for each other and won’t tolerate police harrassment?
What a fat, lying OAF this “cop” is! NOTE: The 2nd Amendment is SELF-incorporated to all government entities at every level. It is MORE ABSOLUTE than the 1st Amendment, or any of the others, because the wording forbids not only CONGRESS, but ANYONE from infringing on it. The 1st says Congress shall make no law.... The 2nd say shall NOT be infringed! Period! End of debate!
Anyone know what 2nd Amendment-related groups I could contact in the Milwaukee area?
I think it’s time we had a peaceful assembly of gun owners in front of the police station, holding signs in protest while peacefully and legally wearing holstered firearms.
This kind of arrogance from so-called “officers of THE LAW” will only increase if we show ourselves to be unwilling to defend our rights. If there are any false arrests and unlawful confiscations, lawsuits MUST follow.
