What's probably even odder to the Time magazine guy is how so many guns were sold after Obama was elected.

Whats more telling is Time Magazine’s paid subscriptions have ‘petered out’ since Columbine.

What's really unfathomable is how Time's circulation plummeted after their gun ownership/suicide issue.
To: Pyro7480
And how many more would be sold if the supply were there.

Amazing IMO that Waco’s burning was 16 years ago yesterday and nary a single article in the mainstream or on FR...........

I guess Waco fell out of Time’s future file.

Its not odd at all. Apparently most Americans realize that throwing away your means of self defence doesn't mean the other guy is going to the same thing. But then, liberals were never good at simple reasoning. If they were, they wouldn't be...............LIBERALS!!!!

Perhaps Columbine, Virginia Tech and Binghamton have told Americans that law enforcement sits outside while killers execute their unarmed victims.

What happened that day in 1999 also seemed to wake America up to the reality that it had become a nation of gun owners... Anyone with more than a couple brain cells to rub together, and an ability to read, already knew that the United States has ALWAYS been a nation of gun owners - since BEFORE we even officially became an independent nation, in fact.

....my local gun store guy told me “the industry was completely unprepared for Obama”....last week I picked up 50 rds of 9mm at WalMart....it was their last box and they don’t know when they’ll get more....and this is in N.C. mind you, a big pro-2nd Ammendment state.

I trust y'all are taking names, just in case there's a quiz later.

"wake America up to the reality that it had become a nation of gun owners and too often a nation of shooters."
Of course if you are a gun owner, you would be a shooter. What is the purpose of owning a gun if you never use it?? Stupid Time writer. Thats like saying we are a nation of automobile owners and too often a nation of drivers.

Not so odd if one understands that inanimate objects do not dictate human behavior.

Here’s an argument someone should have with this idiot - how many people are killed each year in the U.S. by guns versus automobiles??? Should we ban automobiles???

Time probably forgets how many gun laws Harris and Kleibold broke to obtain the guns used in their rampage.

Funny, I have not found it “odd” that Newsweek has petered out after Columbine.

“Anyone with more than a couple brain cells to rub together, and an ability to read, already knew that the United States has ALWAYS been a nation of gun owners”
An effective way to shut up an antiguner who talks about the need for more gun control following these incidents is to explain that such crimes were much less frequent in the past when there was much less gun control than there is today. Ever hear of anyone shooting up a school in the 40’s, 50’s 60’s or 70’s?
