Vets have nothing to be upset about - unless you think the Obama plan to make them pay their own medical bills for combat injuries would irritate them. They might be a little vexed about the VA determining that they weren’t going to pay disability for hearing loss because it would be too expensive due to the number of claims. Maybe they got wound up about the budget cuts that will have them fighting with outdated equipment. It could be that the budget cuts eliminated crucial training and sends GIs into combat without ever having conducted live fire with the equipment they operate.

while giving ACORN uncounted millions...

and is that money being spent on weapons and training?

The only saving grace in your scenario would be that there will still be (if we can retain them), a new generation of "experienced" NCOs and officer corps.

Of course the operative word is "retain". The way ZerØ and his fellow Marxists are going; we'll be damn lucky to retain any of them.
