Fargo flooding was not due to global warming, It was a natural event aggravated by a colder winter and more snow.

You just don’t understand the playbook.
A colder than normal winter is entirely consistent with global warming, (as is a warmer winter, or a normal winter).
Therefore, the flooding is a result of global warming.

I have relatives in Fargo, and many people were embarrassed by O’s assertion that the floods were caused by GW. Of course, we all know WHY he did. Facts don’t matter.

The Red River is a young, shallow basin, about the same age as the prairie pot hole lakes in western MN. When spring arrives and the snow melts from south to north, the frozen snow and ice between Fargo and the big lake act like a dam and there is only one place for the water to go.

A colder than normal winter is entirely consistent with global warming, (as is a warmer winter, or a normal winter). That's the beauty of the AGWT (anthropogenic global warming theory), it's unfalsifiable. All observations confirm it, it predicts everything and anything.
