Joe Biden has given away billions to charities! Only, it’s been other people’s money Joe gives. You see as a Democrat HE is the compassionate one! HE demonstrates his compassion by giving away taxpayer (other people’s) money.

The MSM is thoroughly corrupt.

I also read that Biden’s tax returns reflected no evidence of any income from investments. I might be wrong but if I’m right, I find that very strange for a person of his position. I’m wondering if he might have his monies stashed in secret offshore accounts?????? Is that possible?

Liberals don’t want to give their own money to charity. They’d rather steal yours and give it to the government to ‘help’ people.

Astonishing stinginess. Record-setting, in fact.

Meh...he's a piker. I don't give any of my income to charity. Given the amount that's confiscated by the government, I figure I've already done my part.

Now that this woman has been located, how long before Obama locates her and gloms onto her to take credit for her generosity?

He is a putz

Good article, but frustrating. The problem is that no one cares...if it’s Dems/libs who are stingy and hypocritical, well, their hearts are always in the right place so it never matters what they actually do, or don’t do as the case may be.

‘Liberals don’t want to give their own money to charity.’

Dittoes on that. Compassion is easy when it costs you nothing at all, but is just abstracted from your paycheck before you even get it. Then it isn’t even “earned” money, it is just, umm, magical money.

In fact, the push now seems to be to get people out of the business of donating to charitable causes, by taking away the deductible allotted on taxes. Sorry, but truly compassionate people will continue to give, whether they get a deduction from their taxable income or not, while the phony “liberals” much prefer to allot the largesse from government sources to be distributed according to the political correctness of the targeted “charity”.

United Way is probably the example of how money will be distributed by this “politically correct” method.

His “investments” could be in a separate business entity that isn’t being reported.

There is no law that says you have to report your charitable giving on your tax return. It is conceivable that some people might do this in order to obey the Biblical admonition to keep your giving secret.

We only claim 500.00 on our taxes but we give more than that.

How can we call Liberals ‘stingy’ when they give their entire lives to public service?

Oseola McCarty, a poorly educated African-American laundry woman in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, gave more to charity in one gift than our Vice-President has given in his lifetime. Last week's release of the Bidens' tax returns reveals a troubling character weakness. Stinginess. Unrelenting shameless stinginess... As April 15 arrived this year, Obama and Biden released their tax returns for 2008. Two observations: Biden is stingy, and Obama only began giving when he knew the public would be watching.
