"Who appointed this Meyer bozo the judge of who’s electable??" No kidding. People need to remember what Politico did during the election. They helped to make McCain the nominee, ensuring that the spin on all of Thompson's efforts were "lethargic" even though they didn't look that way when you watched the tape or to people who were there live... or helping to make everyone think Huck was a player and could stay around long enough to mess things up.. and until in the end we got our last choice as our guy. Well, for those of you who may have forgotten...Politico is nothing more than the enemy. They don't like conservatives, don't want to help us and will deliberately lie about us. If they say Palin is Jesse, then it's actually a high compliment, it means she scares the hell out of them

Family issues? Depends on who’s reporting, I suppose.

Obama’s aunt is still in the U.S. illegally, living off US. One of his half-brothers is a sexual predator who was denied entry into Britain and one of his half-brothers lives in a hut. His wife got her salary doubled immediately after he was elected Illinois state senator and got lots of $$ for her hospital. And his mother was basically an anti-American nut who liked foreigners and preferred living in foreign countries to her own.

Yeah, family issues.

My thought exactly (about the communist). I would have thought he would have been certain poison to the Rats and the sheep actually bought it. If you can sell tyranny and slavery to the masses, one would think it would be easier to sell them liberty and freedom.

Yes. She has gaps in her knowledge, I expect. I’ll bet she is completely ignorant of the Austrian language AND the 51st, 52nd, 53rd, 54th, 56th, and 57th states of the USA! And do not get me started on breathalyzers.

YOUR reality isn't Palin. It's probably somebody else. But, the women of the USofA will likely vote with their ovaries! Most soccer moms relate to her, and lots of Catholics (who voted for Zero) will have a candidate to hand their hats onto.

How does one respond to such ignorance, most women do not respond to someone who hangs her teenage daughter out to dry so she could run for office. Nor do they vote with their ovaries. I'm Catholic and a Mom and you have just insulted both. This is the kind of ignorance that will get Obama 4 more years. Sounds like you've been drinking all night?

Who is electable in your mind? The new young McCain fraud?? She seems to be finding her way to fill in the Very older fraud John McCain’s shoes.

The press got to define Palin before she did.

People can deny this is a probably-fatal hit all they like.

I don't see what I would have done differently with my own teenage daughter or for that matter how my wife and I handled the pregnancy and birth of a child created by our teenage son. Can you expand?

But when Palin sacrifices her pregnant teenage daughter for her ambition that’s OK with you. As far as your recitation of Obama’s family issues, they are all adults and “you can’t pick your relatives” , Palin is still responsible for her daughter and to put her on national display as she did was selfish and irresponsible.

That is a fact of life for conservatives. Given your assessment then it is not possible for a god fearing conservative of any stripe to be elected. You may be correct but then if true I may just begin doing what I thought was the unthinkable and sit out elections.

Palin appeals to the base, but you can’t win an election with the base. I’m not saying you can’t win an election with conservative principles, I’m saying you can’t win an election with conservative issues, and with distractions like family matters.

We tried it McCain's way and he lost.

True, Republicans have to learn that the press will always seek to define them. We need candidates that understand how to get their message across despite the best efforts of a hostile press.

Someone who can get 20, 30 or even 60 thousand people into a stadium to talk to them directly is someone who has a chance to jump across what the press wants to spin, though...

You think that Palin’s including her family (warts and all) in public was “sacrificing” her? I think she supported her, as any good and decent parent would do. And there comes a point when our kids make their own decisions, right or wrong. I know I have dealt with things with my own kids that have been heartbreaking, but I love them just the same and I support them. Supporting your family is NOT selfish and irresponsible - it’s what parents do.

I hope I get the opportunity to vote for Palin in 2012.

It's always been my opinion that the left’s delusional paranoia of every thing Sarah Palin is a real indicator of how much they fear her. It's straight out of the playbook: ridicule every thing they do in the press as a way of deligitimizing them. If you need another perfect example of this just look at the coverage of the tea parties.

A revolution in this country would be necessary to take the country out of the hands of an insidious evil. If we do nothing we’re cooked.

This must be a reaction to her speech last week. The left is shaking in their boots. Give em hell Sarah.
