I believe that Iranian snipers have killed our soldiers in Iraq. If not directly, they trained others to do just that.
Iran will use any capacity to kill Christians and Jews. As well as any other non muslim.

I would not be so quick to dismiss them because they’re packing AK’s.
Remember that the famous Finnish sniper, Simo Ha”yha”, used Russian burp guns for many of his kills. He’s wait in his camo until a hapless squad got very close, then open up and hose down the whole lot of them.
We should not turn up our noses at the idea that they’ll train snipers for a short-range suicidal encounter with mere camo and concealment. If they were packing Remington 700’s, sure, we’d be impressed that they finally got a bolt gun that could shoot, but would they have the training to take shots at 700+ meters? Dunno.
Are they suicidal? Yep. If they are, and they practice concealment, they could do a whole lot of guys the same way Simo did them in the snow in Finland so many years ago.
