“In this sense, they are truly Tories—and are totally useless in the New Republican Party which I and millions other envision.”

The one valid point Meghan makes is that the GOP is disconnected with youth voters ...
Does that new republican party appeal to young people?

If not, then how do we do it without becoming RINO-squish sellouts?

With a Reagan-esque leader, one committed to certain bedrock principles. Young People of America LOVED that man, and would have crawled over broken glass for him. Strong, telegencic, unapologetic and firm leadership will attract young people in any society, even with solid conservative principles in place despite liberalism all around us (especially on the campuses). If finessed correctly, it can even be marketed as a REVOLUTION by young people against the LIES that their COLLEGE ESTABLISHMENT through liberal professors, is feeding them. I think this is where the tipping point is, and where the weaknesses can be exploited.
