... It's sickening, really, to see how MSNBC "covered" the nationwide tea parties on Wednesday. After providing precious little advance coverage - a good way to hold down the crowd, one supposes - they openly mocked participants, even doing so in subtly profane ways.
Amazingly, anchors such as Anderson Cooper on CNN and Rachel Maddow on MSNBC snickered about the participants at the tea parties being "teabaggers" and "teabagging" knowing full well that the term is slang for a disguisting sexual act. At one point, a guest on Maddows show even explained that ...

I think Rachel is a D-bagger.
Anderson Cooper: It’s Hard To Talk When You’re Teabagging

Mercedes75 (comment at Youtube in comments section) has something to say about this:
“Cooper finds it hard to talk when he’s choking on Obama’s acorns.”
OUCH! Touche to A.C.
Cooper is just another lib journalist who sees his real role as INTERPRETING the news. Scratch a journalist, find an op-ed writer in waiting. They all think the world really wants to hear their opinions on things. That's why failed comics have such sweet jobs--they skipped the years of learning the world they're commenting on and just jumped right into commentating.
Cooper and Maddow hows those rating doing?
or a carpet bagger...
The fact is the month of March, the MSM didn’t even mention the words “tea party”. Now the MSM talks about it. I wouldn’t care at this point what Madcow or Anderson Pooper says because nobody watches them in the first place and the fact that “tea parties” are now in their “news” is a win.
Just like that idiot Obama who unintentionally gave more audience numbers to Rush by stating “stop listening to Rush”.
Like our secretary of State Hillary?
HAHAHA, good point. It seems the general public is “dismissing” them. And for my side of the diatribe............I know she has no personal experience of enjoying tea in the morning, but I know she loves muffins for breakfast.
How the elite liberals laugh at average patriotic Americans! You would have thought they were afraid that the silent majority is beginning to rouse.
Only when he stops teabagging.
Good to see the libtards are worried.
Apparently someone should ask her.
AC and Rachel Maddow may be next to feel the heat from the blogosphere and sites like FR.
What they have said has already gotten somewhat more attention than the stunt Roesgen pulled.
OK, my apologies, my last post was a bit childish. I should not stoop to their levels, no matter how it may seem best at the moment.
They are worried.
They tried to ignore. Didn’t work. Next they try to mock. Won’t work. After that they will rail against those who dare to patriotically dissent against Obama’s policies.
That is happening even now, too.
Obama’s positives have declined and his negatives have went way up.
Like Dick Morris has said - what was once a 20% gap between the two is now about 2%.
If they were affiliated with a USSR station, they'd all be dead and the company closed.
But then, who cares about semantics.
I can’t really say that they are clever....I doubt if either got the idea themselves and rely upon some funnel from the White House to get the ideas.
What both did....was to lower themselves well beneath news legend Edward R. Murrow.
Neither are news analysts....they are simply commentators at best. Last time I looked on the statistics board...for news...Colbert Nation and Jon Stewart’s Daily Show both got more viewers than Maddow or Cooper. That says something. If comedian commentators can outscore you...you might as well hang it up and go back to Channel Nine news in Nashville.
