A young man is dead and four others wounded after shootings within 15 minutes citywide Friday afternoon.
At 3:08 p.m., a man was shot near Homan Avenue and Washington Boulevard and taken Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Fire Media Affairs Cmdr. Will Knight said.
At 3:15 p.m., two males were wounded in a drive-by shooting in the 7900 block of South King Drive, police News Affairs Sgt. Antoinette Ursitti said. One was taken to Stroger Hospital and the other to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The teen taken to Christ Hospital from the King Drive shooting was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office, who said the teen was unidentified at 6 p.m.

This is an Onion news hoax, right? Chicago has very stringent GUN CONTROL laws. Anyone who carried a gun would get into soooo much trouble. That’s why nobody ever, ever has a gun who shouldn’t.

This is part of the concerted effort by the MSM to make all gun shootings into national news. We’re going to hear about every drug murder, and if there are several in one night, they’ll be grouped together to sound even more impressive. Flooding the news with gun violence, to pave the way for more attacks on the second amendment.
Of course, if it’s really more dangerous out there, doesn’t make much sense to disarm us....
If the Dems want to make this country safer through gun control, they need to go through all the major cities and disarm those people that possess illegal firearms. Then I might consider giving them my guns.
So after they go house to house in the cities you would think about disarming? How does that make sense?
