AUSTIN, TX Texas has seceded from the union. Led by Governor Rick Perry, Texans and frustrated Conservatives are clamoring to Texas to start a new country.
Texas state congress held an emergency session on Thursday, and in a 180-1 vote decided to secede from the union.
Originally the Texas Senate opposed the actions of the State Congress, until the Congressmen asked if they would like to step outside. After a brief scuffle behind the Capitol building...

You should mark this as satire and sarcasm.
Although the Governor spoke about what he though as an option ... it wasn’t a call for secession.
And Dem legislators are p*ssed. Personally, I’d tell em to go suck a rock. They should be listening to the Governors comments in total to the press and the assembles citizens ... and not key in on two or three words.
But that is Dem style.

The first orders of business addressed by the Republic of Texas were to set up a holiday on May 2nd where effigies of Gen. Santa Anna will be burned publicly, and to require all state business to be done wearing coonskin caps. I am proud, and grateful that I, & my children, are Americans.
However; we are Texans first.

If pro-amnesty Perry pulled it off, I wonder if they would they allow the free flow of illegals into Texas?

Succession. If we want to live in a land of liberty, this is what we are gonna have to do.
We are not going to move incrementally back to a nation of liberty and free markets. We've finally tipped to the point of the majority voting to transfer wealth from the minority, and they'll continue to vote this way until the MSM is removed and our youth are taught the lessons of the founding fathers.

Ignoramus trying and failing to be funny. Texas was not "annexed," it joined the Union voluntarily; there is no Texas "congress." Hey Reginald, satire is supposed to be witty.

Yeah, except Sam’s only goal the entire time was to get Texas admitted into the US. He never had any intention of Texas remaining an independent country, and really even took steps to ensure that.
