Acknowledging that “an apology is owed,” Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano promised Thursday to “meet and clear the air” with veterans groups that were offended by her agency’s report citing “returning veterans” as terrorist risks to the U.S.
“To the extent veterans read it as an accusation,” Napolitano told FOX News, “an apology is owed.”
“I’ll meet with the leaders of some of the veterans groups,” she promised on “FOX & Friends.” “The last thing we want to do is offend or castigate all veterans. To the contrary, let’s meet and clear the air.”
Napolitano said she was briefed on the report, including the warning about returning veterans, before it was released.

“I have to tell you, I was the United States Attorney for Arizona in the 90’s when Tim McVeigh bombed the Murrow building in Oklahoma City and unfortunately he was a vet — that’s where he got his training,” she said. “And so when I was told about the report, it rang true with me. Exactly. We wouldn’t meet with her. They don’t have to meet with her. She should just say to all the veterans I am sorry for what I said NOT “if it offended you.” That’s BS and I would rather see our veterans tell her meeting with her is not necessary. Just issue the public apology the way it should be and then think before she opens her mouth like that again. RESIGN JANET...YOU’RE DEFINITELY NOT QUALIFIED FOR THE POSITION YOU HOLD. PERIOD!!!

Of course she didn’t apologize to Constitutionalists, gunowners, or pro-life supporters.

Veterans get an “apology”, but secure-borders advocates, pro-life supporters, traditional marriage supporters, and anti-Communist freedom lovers continue to be targeted by the Napolitano Gestapo. The veterans’ orgs should demand that she include EVERY smeared group in her “apology”, which by the way takes effect when her fat rear end is on a bus out of the nation’s capital.
