I just saw Pelosi on the news. I couldn't believe her sneering at the tens of thousands of tea party participants, saying that the tea parties weren't a grassroots movement, but was an artificial "Astroturf" movement that was bought by nameless unknown parties.
Let's show Pelosi and our Congresscritters how much we care. I plan to snip a 1 inch square of my artificial turf doormat and mail it and a teabag to Speaker Pelosi, and to my elected "representative". Wbat a great way to protest her snide statement!
I hope everyone will join me. Go out and buy a doormat or somehow get a piece of artificial turf. Let's send Congress enough Astroturf so that they won't need to spend any tax dollars on recarpeting the Capitol for a few years!!!

It will be a waste of time. After the Anthrax scare all mail is checked and anything objectionable is removed before it goes to the Congresspersons.

You know how they tie ribbons to those wrought iron fences, maybe we should tie the teabags to the fences the same way ribbons are tied to the those very same fences.
