Dissolution of the Union is almost unavoidable at this point. The left has gone too far and our differences are too deep. I’m not willing to sacrifice any more liberty to feed the socialist monster that’s growing stronger every day in this country.
Rather than secession, at this point in time, I would like to see Washington DC isolated from the rest of the country if our politicians continue on the track they are on. I guess what I’m saying is, instead of States pulling out, the States need to come together and as has been said, remove the ones that don’t believe in our Constitution. Maybe move the Capital to Texas until Washington gets its act together. Let these people know we’ve had enough.
I don’t think it is inevitable. If it occurred, however, to make secession worthwhile we would still have to deal with the “Blue Staters” in our midst, who would certainly begin the process of pushing the newly freed states back into the same old patterns of government and thinking. We would also have to scrub from our minds the collectivist ideas that the left has managed to insinuate into the heads of even most conservatives.
If you think the divide is bad now, just wait until the democrats legalize the 20-40 million illegal aliens currently in our country.
Don’t think they aren’t licking their chops at setting up another democrat dependancy group which will give them an almost insurmountable advantage in national elections.
beware of Janet Napolitano....aka Janet Reno. She maybe sending in federal troops to the first seccession
Bullfrog
So as Texas goes you will see Mississipi. Alabama. Georgia,
South Carolina, North Carolina, and practically all bordering states to jin in secession
