Good for them but the Pope needs to publicly denounce the invitation.
I wonder if Notre Dame will have to cover up religious symbols the way Georgetown did when Obama visited?
Added my name to the petition even though I am not Catholic.
The only thing that will work is economic pressure on Notre Dame, from their own, the alums and family and friends of ND.
Do not give any money.
Do not send your children to school there.
Do not go to the football games.
Do not buy any ND merchandise.
sadly, IMO, most alums cannot help themselves, and will not be able to do these things.
The alums I have spoken with (and I am not an alum) are all for protesting, but hey, football is football.
