CNN Reporter at Chicago Tea Party: It's "Anti-CNN...Promoted By the Right-Wing...Fox"

CNN correspondent Susan Roesgen could barely get through her live shot at the Chicago tea party this afternoon. Over shouts of, "You're not a reporter," Roesgen quickly wrapped up an interview with an attendee, then said, "I think you get the general tenor of this. It's anti-government, anti-CNN since this is highly promoted by the right-wing conservative network Fox."

As I mentioned on another thread, I was at the Chicago gathering. I did not see this particular reporter, though I did see several news people. The plaza was crowded (it’s not a large area, though), and I’d estimate it is about 12,000 - 15,000 square feet in size, including the sidewalks. I’d say the crowd numbered about 1,500.

Everyone was very well-behaved. The National Anthem was led by a woman with a great voice (but I could not see her from where I was, and I did not catch her name). I did see John Kass (a very good columnist from the Chicago Tribune).

The signs were varied and terrific!

Believe me, the American people are fed up, and, as the Peter Finch character in “Network” said: “We’re mad as hell and we’re not going to take it anymore!”

My my, but she does take herself and CNN far too seriously. The TEA parties are about something much bigger than any one reporter of questionable talent and one network of known bias...

Good one!!!

And that is the edited version, I was there about ten feet away, she was really trying to incite the crowd and actually succeeded. We began chanting Go Home CNN and she had to leave. It was one of the most disgusting pictures I have seen of liberal bias ever.

We were also at the Chicago Tea Party and estimated the crowd size to be somewhere around 2,000 and I would guess that it was a little more rather than less.

That so called CNN reporter was awful and ended up being shouted out and left. We were chanting Go Home CNN over and over. A few cops came over and I suggested to them that the reporter had tried to incite a riot...she was really very caustic, this video is edited believe it or not.

I was there today. It wasn't so much anti-CNN (although that "reporter" was the arrogant and clueless one I've seen in awhile), as it was anti-big spending, anti-tax, and anti-incumbent. Maybe she thought it was orchestrated by Fox because Mancow was there.

They don’t understand that silent majority doesn’t need marching orders from Soros and Acorn.

The MSM is so used to “rent a mob” type protests made up of protesters that are professional protesters. They have culture shock over this and it shows.

I was there, part of the time (noon-12:25). I was surprised that so many people attended. Part of the time, I could barely move.

I don’t know, he was certainly annoying though. I think he just wanted to get some air time, he did and sounded like an idiot :) But, CNN should really be blasted by us folk and by the media for it’s attempt to incite the crowd and it’s lack of reporting rather than propagandizing.

This evening, this FReeper watched some YouTube videos, which were a series - basically an hour long televised interview about America’s financial future.

The experience was in every way, as informative, as interesting and as compelling as watching television.

The technology, really not that advanced.

A “network” is no longer needed. FreeRepublic could become a “network” for that matter.

All that’s needed is video capability, and enough bandwidth to handle the massive surge in traffic a “FreeRepublic News Network” could generate.

We don’t need to worry about biased news media.

Let’s just make our own.

Right here.
