There were a lot more people to the north and south of the stage that my pictures did not show. I might revise my numbers down to 2500 because of the extra space taken up with umbrellas and signs, but no further than that.

Oh, I'm deferring to your estimate. I think you're a lot closer than my original estimate was. Until I saw your pictures in your earlier thread, I hadn't realized how far the crowd extended to the north, because I was on the down side of the sloped ground and on the south side. As for the umbrellas, in a lot of cases (like mine) people were standing 2-3 under one umbrella, so don't take off too many for that. Anyway, this was a whole lot more people than showed up at the March tea party. Thanks again for the photos!
