Maybe 'brilliant' isn't exactly the right word for Obama

Hes brilliant, said Bill OReilly of Fox News.
Hes brilliant, say most members of the mainstream media and basically all democrats.
Who are they speaking of? President Barack Obama, of course. With the already legendary intellect, unrivaled understanding of any situation - - domestic or global -- and omnipotency being assigned to our 44th President, its almost sacrilege to even ask the question. Recently, while riding on a train with an older and admittedly liberal couple from New York, I mentioned Obama. Instantly, the reaction from both was, Hes brilliant.
When I asked the couple what made Obama brilliant, they answered because hes articulate and went to Harvard. Okay. I guess thats one measurement. I then asked them if they knew Obamas SAT scores, or his GPA from Occidental College or Columbia University? They said they did not but assured me they had to be high. The American Heritage Dictionary defines brilliant as: Marked by unusual and impressive intellectual acuteness. For all I know, Obama meets or exceeds this definition. For far too many members of the media however, the brilliance of a politician is based solely on how far left he or she leans. The more liberal, the more brilliant.
A glaring example of this unethical rating system can be found in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections. In both elections, many in the mainstream media ascribed great intellectual prowess to Vice President Al Gore in 2000 and then to Senator John Kerry in 2004.

Get him off teleprompter and he’s virtually incoherent. I have never believed he’s even smart. Someone writes everything for him and he delivers a good speech. Period. Hollywood actors do that and nobody thinks they are “brilliant”.

He should have asked the pawns on the train why he refused a townhall type debate with McCain.

If brilliance is defined by reading above your grade level, then yes he qualifies.

Brillinat? No fricking way. He cannot put a sentence together without the teleprompter telling him what to say.

His “brilliance” is part of the Big Lie which must be repeated often.
Included in that lie are that he is “handsome” and that Michele is “stunning”.

bill is a sexual pervert who had to settle a sexual assault charge out of court or lose his job. He has the morals of an alley cat and he has no principles to live by... he is nothing more than a media whore and he sold his soul to satan many years ago. He also called FREE REPUBLIC a hate site... but it is his heart that hates... I just despise him. Glen Beck should replace him and murdoch should send bill out to pasture. bill is also dumber than a box of rocks but thinks he is smarter than Einstein.
