Front-runners expect to be challengers at Desert Mile
All proceeds from Hot Laps for the Troops will benefit the Salute to Military Families program, helping to provide tickets and race day entertainment for the many men and women of the United States Armed Forces. Without the militarys support and commitment to the liberty and freedom of the American population, the entertainment of NASCAR racing at PIR and venues across the country would not be possible.

Don't have one of those YET!
But that will be a priority after I close on a home.

Phoenix is a great track. I really hope IndyCar gets it back on the schedule one of these days.
Although it’s not likely; surely by now Tony George has figured out that ISC is not his friend.

I read earlier today that Danica is stirring up a bit of drama again.

From article:
It didnt take long for Teresa Earnhardt to learn the number had no value without Earnhardt Jr. behind the wheel. That, sadly, is the result. I'm personally glad Jr. didn't pay a ransom for HIS #. Someday, the chickens will come home to roost. I hope he will someday reclaim the #3, but I won't hold my breath for that one.

There is NOTHING better than Saturday night racing - which reminds me it’s time to start voting for the driver we want in the All-Star race May 16.....

Robby Gordon asked us to vote for him......?

I thought as much....much more fun to be there.
You can always watch the highlights on TV afterwards right?
To: vox_freedom
Childress has Nascar’s blessing to hold onto that number - I just wonder if it will remain that way. I know one of his grandsons is running the 3 in a lower division. I don’t ever want to see that number racing in Cup - it needs to remain retired.

I can set my flat screen in my bedroom up as a monitor for my computer.
But...what the really need to come up with (and they prolly have & I don’t know it) is a switching system to set it back & forth without connecting/disconncting a cable.
Now doubt’s you’ll buy the biggest & best! lol
To: WestCoastGal
Of course. She can’t get attention on her record of wins. :)
Yes, I went there.
To: ZirconEncrustedTweezers
Have you been to PIR Tweeze?
To: vox_freedom
And yes, I know this is Chicagoland... Great pic vox!
To: AZamericonnie
I never have, but I used to really love watching CART race there on television.

I’ll be leaving for PIR in the morning (Wednesday). Got a 4 hour drive. Everybody enjoy the race. Go Junior!
