Smirking for the camera, this is the 20-year-old woman Mexican police caught guarding an extraordinary arsenal of weapons.
Anahi Beltran Cabrera was seized during a routine patrol in Sonora state, near the U.S. border.
Officers recovered a vast cache of weapons including an anti-aircraft gun capable of firing 800 shots per minute, a number of rifles and an array of ammunition.

Is she single? The two female cops next to her are better looking.

Well... she certainly looks contrite. BTW, I'll wager that 1919 has been in Mexico for a very long time.

Its an M1919, 30 cal Browning. Not an antiaircraft gun. That was my thought as well. Chalk up another item on the clueless journalist list.

This is what happens when you play reactive amateur touch football against an enemy playing aggressive ultimate fighter on the other side.
When you have a large, determined enemy killing off your people, you must go to war against that enemy or you will be obliterated.

There is something about these two pictures that bothers me. I mean there is something out of place beside the girl who was a guard standing with a smirk next to two other women. Who I guess we are to presume they are under cover? And they look HOT under their costume and real nice makeup.
Why would you have someone who is dangerous and knows guns and violence stand there with no shackles?

The belt fed looks US design, and manufacture. When exactly, where it came from and how it got there, is another matter.
I mean lets face it; the US makes some damn fine weapons, they're bound to get around.

The Mexican Army and the Federales are indeed at war with the Drug Lords (and the state cops, who are pretty universally corrupt) - numerous shootouts with RPGs, .50 cal flying around.
To: Vendome
She is surrounded and maybe the firing pins have been removed.

Not for long. A suppressed .22 LR rifle, role down window, honk, fire, drive away. People would wonder why the two Obamanation Youth Corps are taking a nap on the corner.
Henry Bowman then goes home and sleeps like a baby.

Guess that she's one of those mag hoarders who are causing so many problems for those of us who got into the AR game a bit late... At least she doesn't have any windowed Magpuls in her stash...
That's a joke - as far as I can tell from the photo, they are AK mags, not AR mags, but still...

Besides that though I see some guns, and lots of mags, but I'm not sure any of those mags fit in any of those gunsCertainly not that P-17 back there. Or that 1919 that definitely exploited the gun show loophole. In some states they treat a magazine or even an empty case the same as a gun. Maybe Mexico does too.
To: Freeport
Yeah, I picked up a machine gun and anti-aircraft gun at a gun show in Texas last weekend.

including an anti-aircraft gun capable of firing 800 shots per minute Just caught the article posted at Fox News, published by AP. The AP added the following to that sentence:
"...and is capable of penetrating armor from more than 5,000 feet... "
Really? Not only is it NOT an anti-aircraft gun, but I highly doubt it will penetrate armor at almost a mile range.
