I’m not a Catholic (yet) but I own a Rosary. Would it be permissable for me to show up at a Pro-Life rally with a Rosary in hand in hopes of being labeled as an Enemy of the State?

Am I already on that list by simple virtue of posting on this forum?

Sure. You would be welcome. But more importantly, pray the Rosary with the people there. :-)

I hope you appreciate the power of praying the rosary!

Archbishop Fulton Sheen said, "The rosary is the book of the blind, where souls see and there enact the greatest drama of love the world has ever known; it is the book of the simple, which initiates them into mysteries and knowledge more satisfying than the education of other men; it is the book of the aged, whose eyes close upon the shadow of this world, and open on the substance of the next. The power of the rosary is beyond description."
How to Pray the Rosary

Welcome Home!

We’re probably all on that list by now, so I’d say - join the club.

I give tours of our local (Catholic) cathedral one day a week, and I meet people from all over the country. Today, I had people who suddenly wanted to talk about Obama and how afraid they were that he was going to attack the Church. And these were just nice, ordinary people - machinists, school secretaries, etc., not politicians or clergy. One of them burst into tears because she said she never imagined that this would happen in the US.

I never discuss politics when I give tours and these people simply came out with this because they were in a safe Catholic environment. I don’t think they even realized they were Enemies of the State.

Keep praying that Rosary!
