Who's poised to lead the Republican party out of the woods? John McCain seems convinced that one GOP notable is not the person for the job, someone he's quite familiar with - his former running mate.
On Monday's "Tonight Show," Jay Leno asked the Arizona Senator to name the new guiding lights of the Republican party, and McCain was quick to rattle off a list of "young, dynamic" governors around the country.
Palin wasn't one of them.
McCain singled out Lousisana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Florida Gov. Charlie Christ, Minnesota's Tim Pawlenty, and Mitt Romney, McCain's chief rival for the Republican presidential nod in 2008.
In case anyone missed his conspicuous omission of Palin, McCain then added, "And I've left out somebody's name, and I'm gonna hear about it."

They are still trying to tell us which horse to back. Sad thing is, somehow it worked, and THAT is how we ended up with him... shakes head, NOT laughing.
Tatt
Graceless fool.
Guess he’s sorry he didn’t lose by THREE digits.
He’d “hear about it” if anyone in the GOP gave a shit about what he thinks.
Thank God that Blithering Idiot left Sarah Palin off of HIS list of rising stars in the Republican Party. It would have been a kiss of death for her. The only people who would be interested in his selection is the same liberal crowd that did not vote for him in the last election. They (the liberals) have been playing that idiot like a cheap guitar for about twenty years. When is he going to learn that he has been left behind in the last 4 presidential elections. The ride is over! Go do something that is beneficial for the country!
‘It should be obvious now that McCain has a great disdain for Palin.’
yes, cause Sarah can draw circles around mccain. He never should have been the 2008 R Presidential nominee. Thanks to his philosophy and his lousy campaign, we have President Obama. McCain should retire and be quiet....and that goes for his daughter too.
Would not call him a “useful” idiot, but he is in fact a 100% idiot. If it was not for his military service I might be inclined to add many more unkind names to describe what I think he truly is today. Sad, that in his latter years he is destroying all the good once associated with and about him.
Sorry, I forgot to put the /s
I always called that the Juggerknot shot.
You mean you could NOT care less than you do right now, correct?
I couldn’t care less what McCain thinks about anything.
Not getting McCain’s endorsement is like Sarah Palin receiving the Ronald Reagan Conservative seal of approval.
LOL.........did the same thing !!
Cool!
Awwwww, are they BFFs now?
John who?
OK. Thanks for the clarification.
Despite, her diseased political perspective, I actually find her attractive, being predisposed to women who look like women. But Meagan, honey, not a gram more, ‘kay?
MCCAIN: Mitt Romney did a great job and continues to...

Sad but true. Like some other here, I was excited about Fred, but apparently he wasn’t : /
