Good for Kinky.

Not that I'd vote for this old hippe desperately hanging on to the 1970's.

But with Kay Bailey Hutchison and all the Sarah Palin bashing she's done....

And with RINO Rick.....

What to do? What to do?

"There is a pathetic lack of leadership at the state level. The last governor who was truly on the side of the people was Ann Richards. She was a very funny lady--she was also a great governor."

LOLOLOL! I want some of what he's smoking.

I heard him say about a month or two ago he would mostly like run again and if he did it would be for the democrat party nomination. He may have a chance as it seems the democrats are focusing on the senate seat being vacated by KBH.

I’ll take a RINO like Perry over a joke of a Dem, which is what Kinky is. Wish those weren’t the choices though.

Texans are ripe and ready for a candidate that is NOT republican or democrat. Texans DEMAND freedom....low taxation, and independence from federal control. Any candidate that is trusted to achieve this is a shoe-in!

Are you listening Kink?...............

You voted for Kinkey?

Well, I have no respect for you.

But at least - to your credit - you didn’t vote for Carole Keeton McClellan Rylander Strayhorn.

(lol)

We just refer to her as name of the week.

Any Kinky fans need only read that embarassing open letter he penned to the current occupant of the White House.

My take is that the only thing he's qualifed for is to be first in line at the next Che festival.

Voting for Perry may be what Claytie said but at least the mimbo ain't no commie.

Kinky’s little schtick isn't quite as funny as it was before our socialist heel-turn. The Maw Richards comment was all I needed to hear.

Nope, but I’d have probably voted for Jesse. I fiqure any non profesional or non legacy politician is going to be better than those members of the political class.

I give you, Bush 3 generations
Gore, two generations
Clinton, never did anything else, Obama likewise

No common experience with my life and no common sense either.

Where’s he next Harry Truman when you need him?

Me too. But... don’t be too surprized if Kay or Rick say essentially the same thing.

Or worse.

Well, for the moment, Perry is "saying" a lot of the right things. Probably safe to say he is feeding the base some red meat and isn't 100% on his convictions.

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry joined state Rep. Brandon Creighton and sponsors of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 50 in support of states’ rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.”

Perry continued: “Millions of Texans are tired of Washington, DC trying to come down here to tell us how to run Texas.”
