Thanks neverdem. Of course, this doesn't mean that adult stem cell research will ever be fruitful. /sarc
A Chinese group isolated stem cells from mouse ovaries, transplanted them into sterilized mice, and got these normal babies.
I'm pinging this topic (not immediately obvious why, right?) because of the various plans and programs to revive the mammoth. This could be the ticket, right here!

If I'm not just talking out of my behind (and I am by the way, but that doesn't mean I'm dead wrong), this technique might help with the revival of more recently extinct species, such as the moa, the passenger pigeon, the zylacine...

Reviving the mammoth?

Not a good idea. I saw a movie once that had mammoths innit what were brought back to life in the modern age.

Lots of squished people. Wasn’t purty.
