Actually, I was thinking about this last night, and I remember reading something in the last year or so where they had disproved that female mammals cannot generate new eggs after puberty.

But it was under very limited circumstances, and maybe they were pumping up the hormones, or something, I don’t remember the details.

Stem cell ping!!! Undermining established doctrine doesn't happen every day. A couple of more papers like this will take biologists back to the drawing board, at least about female germline stem cells.
