Bureaucrats.

Gotta make the boss happy if you are going to get promoted.

Why is anyone surprised? With a shrinking budget any self-serving bureaucrat is going to do anything to protect his own rice bowl.

The raid on Waco was a rice bowl moment that went bad.

So, when/where is the next Waco?

How about "a Waco every week?"

The really insidious aspect of this very dangerous development comes from several angles. It is very inflammatory, likely to provoke precisely the behavior it claims to spotlight. The devil himself could not have designed a more potent social explosive.

It also shows how DHS has fallen completely to the Social Workers, and there was good reason to fear this must one day happen back at the creation of this Frankenstein - knowing full well it would inevitable fall into the hands of the Socialist mob.

It demonstrates the Reason-For-Being of DHS has become Self-Continuity, and the Terrorists, in the eyes of this administration are the People, as defined in the Constitution. They clearly fear the People more than Islam.

How does one fight this attempt to redefine the Center in a battle of perceptions? Tea Parties?

If this is just the first, what can we expect before an election policed by these mobsters and ACORN?

I can't help but wonder if we can wait for an election, as methodology such as this will only get stronger and more dangerous, dividing out individuals in a reign of terror and cowing the rest.

Do you imagine there will not be a disproportionate number of IRS audits awaiting those attending Tea Parties on Wednesday? They may even hope that word of such a thing is exposed, as it ignites the kind of direct action they want, and there just isn't any "media" anymore.

This is bad, bad business, friends. It is a clear and present danger to the safety of the Republic.

Yup and one has to wonder if they've learned from their mistakes in that disaster so the next time tyranny smites a defenseless citizen, the action will be a smooth reminder to the sheep that the wolves are firmly in control.

Possibly as early as this weekend, at one, or more, of the "Patriots Day" Appleseed shoots?

That could be "interesting".
