I wish I could hear old G. Gordon. He has a great radio voice. I saw him broadcasting at CPAC. He should have been a speaker too.

I wish I could hear old G. Gordon.

I saw Liddy at Marshall U (Huntington, WV) just after he was freed from jail.

The usual crowd of misfit college students (before the last 25 years amped them up even more).

He offered the question:

If I gave you $1,000 (some figure -- might have been a million) and said you had 3 years to spend it, on average how much would you have to spend a year?

He called on several kids in the audience for an answer and not one was even close. It was a pretty good display of how students, even then, were not in a position to solve even simple problems.

During the Q&A they tried very hard to make him look bad. Woe be to them. He chewed them up like so many dog toys.

Gordon Liddy’s radio show is the only thing I miss from living on the East Coast. The very first date I had with my wife was dinner, followed by excellent seats at a Gordon Liddy lecture in Norfolk VA...(I know, I’m such a romancer...)
