SOMALI pirates have threatened revenge after two separate hostage-rescue raids by foreign forces killed at least five comrades, raising fears of future bloodshed on the high seas. The latest raid by US forces this morning saved American hostage Capt Richard Phillips. Three pirates were killed and one was taken captive, the US Navy said.
That rescue mission and one by France last week have upped the stakes in shipping lanes off the anarchic Horn of Africa nation where pirate gangs have defied foreign naval patrols.
"The French and the Americans will regret starting this killing. We do not kill, but take only ransom. We shall do something to anyone we see as French or American from now," Hussein, a pirate, told Reuters by satellite phone.
"We cannot know how or whether our friends on the lifeboat died, but this will not stop us from hijacking," he said.
Sea gangs generally treat their captives well, hoping to fetch top dollar in ransoms. The worst violence has been an occasional beating.

Actually we need to re-instate “Walking the Plank” and make it be done publicly so the pirates can watch what happens when a pirate criminal gets caught.
This is good. Let them seek revenge. When they do it will afford an opportunity to kill bunches of them. In fact, the only thing that makes sense is to go back into Somalia and level it. Hang warlords from light poles (if they have light poles) and kill that Muslim scum until they surrender.
If there is no government to surrender, just kill Somalis looking for revenge until no more of them can be found. That should have been done by Bill Clinton, but that degenerate mutt left with his tail between his legs. His cowardice led to 9/11.
Make this pay back time and tie Obama to it. See how popular he will be after it gets out that he authorized exterminating those creeps who were holding the Captain of the tanker. Now that he is playing tough guy make him go for broke. It is all to the good.
Good God, these are illiterate peasents with ak47s and a few rpg's. A few Machine guns(with operators) and cross-training some of the crew to use night-vision scoped rifles would stop all of this. It's not WW111. It's some pissants and a bunch of lawyers (pick your country).

He would not have had to been called for two days in a row for authorization to attack while he thought about it, trying to figure out how to vote present.
The first rescue mission would not have retreated when fired upon without having fired back. They would have done the job as they are trained.
In short. These pisants would not even have the guts to say such things because they would know fast fierce retaliation. Not indecision and negotiations.
Leaving those sailors in the wind under fire while trying to rescue people was criminal. But I bet that they were given the order not to fire even if fired upon so they didn’t provoke the pirates. I see how well all that worked out.

Wow! Thank you for that link. I’ve been reading comments about this, but missed the original thread(s). I thought it was just a joke, made up by some freeper. I didn’t realize she had actually said that. It’s getting harder and harder to tell the difference between satire and reality. And of course when some people jump in and deny the truth, it makes it even harder. So when links are provided that lead to the truth, it’s very helpful. Thanks again.
