Former SEAL: Taking-out pirates holding American captain "not an operational problem"
Fox News Live

Fox just interviewed off screen a former SEAL regarding why the Somali pirates are being allowed to take the kidnapped US merchant captain to Somalia. In his words, 'this is not an operational issue.' In other words, Obama is ordering that no action be taken until he can get permission from the 'international community.' The SEAL noted that they have been training for just this situation since 1981.
Meanwhile, the French rescue their people.

Blackwater International has substantial assets in the region. Will they do what Obama will not let the Navy do? Doubt it. Why would you expect a mercenary outfit to do the job of our military? To start with they are not being paid to do the job, for another it is up to the US to clean their own house. Whether you like it or not, and from your comments over the last several days I say you are a Bozo apologist, Bozo is totally responsible for this mess going on as long as it has and now that the boat has drifted close to land and will undoubtedly make landfall soon, the Captain has an excellent chance of never coming home alive.
Put the blame where it belongs, on the Coward in Chief.

Do you really think that the SEALs don’t train for this? Covered boat or not, 4 well-rested SEALs can take down 4 tired, hungry, untrained pirates in a second or two.
Wait until night. Put a searchlight on them intermittently until about 3 am. Then, one of those times that searchlight is off the boat, the SEALs surface and strike. They will not even see the SEALs coming until they see the bright flash.
The only problem is that I’m sure that the Kenyan is demanding that all options on the table leave all four pirates alive.

“Stop trying to think, youre not good at putting facts together. By Monday night the Captain of that ship will be lost in the maze of Samali houses and streets. Do you actually believe O bow ma would risk another Mogadishu? The c-i-c is a cowardly Marxist who has more gaul to lie and post a forgery to ascend to the presidency than to stand up against terrorists Somali Muslim pirates.”
I guess four hijackers could row a powerless boat 40 miles by tomorrow. And this isn’t Mogadishu. The Pirates will have to expose themselves once they leave the boat. That is when I would take them out.
If I recall from other posts, the reason we are all giving as to why the SEALS haven’t taken them out yet is because they cannot see them.
So let’s call the rescue Monday night. You don’t think the MSM can keep this at the top of the news cycle for 48 hours? The NY Slimes kept Gitmo as the number one story for 28 days. This will be cake for the MSM.

When Julius Cesar was taken hostage by Pirates they paid the money but he returned and destroyer all the Pirates. The only way to rid the ocean of Pirates is to destroy them all.

I suspect the hull is filled with foam and wouldn’t sink very low into the water.

Good call! I didn’t think of that.

At first news of this hijacking, the only order needed to be issued by the president should have been”Use any resources available to rescue the captain and neutralize the pirates if needed. I expect results in 24 hours”.

Ah, but the supposed
real conservatives ridicule and condescend that birthers should shut up and wait for a better issue! ... I'm sick of these DNC agitprops soiling my once grand FR home with their pseudo-conservative claptrap. This affirmative action fraud-in-chief must be opposed at the most fundamental level, and all the rest of the levels beyond that! It is a real possibility that this lying PME (piece of muslim excriment) in the oval orifice is being blackmailed over his place of birth! Is that too hard for folks to see?

Well said. The DDG and FFG onsite have no effective way to deal with this besides keeping the area free of pirate reinforcements.
Until the Boxer arrives with it's myriad capabilities (the assets of that ship (Wasp class LHD) could overthrow most countries on the planet), there are VERY FEW OPTIONS. Once the Boxer arrives, you have more options than you can shake a stick at.

It is hard to make a leak in those types of life boat, they have foam inside a double hull, and because of the foam filled double hull they would not sink even if filled with water. However, I could see the pirates not wanting to sit inside a boat full of water, in fact they would have to get out or drowned inside the boat, IMO. It would be hard to get the hole through the foam and both hulls however.
Make no mistake, I think that our Seals could have rescued this guy by now if the Coward In Chief has given the go ahead.

That is a covered boat. It can be done but they better plan real well.
That boat needs to develop a "leak" so those inside are forced to seek high and dry area, on top of the hard cover.
Maybe some acid poured in a discreet location and let time and tide do the rest.
Then start plinking off the pirates...

“IF (big if) this was turned over to Petraeus and the US Navy as reported ...” And you believe this lying PME affiramtive action fraud and his criminal minion administration? HA! What better way to marginalize Petraeus than to claim in the media that he is now completely in charge and hold his reins too tight? Wake up, we the people are a ruled populace being lied to by the minute, and more than 50% appear to like it that way!
