I hope Obuma doesn’t screw this man up.

Scary to have such a weak and dangerous person running the government.

ok, so this is the point where they captured one of the pirates ,by stabbing him in the hand . Presumably , would they not have gotten his weapon ? And?.....
Sorry but I see this as a an example of the total insanity
of gun prohibition/control in the modern era . All merchant shipping has to be armed . If countries / ports disallow it
then those countries/ports don’t get any shipping . See how quick they change their damn laws

Alright, here’s how you deal with the daggone pirates. They have homes in Somalia, big homes, on the coast. They are some of the richest people in Somalia. Find out where they live and then bomb their house. You won’t have to take out more than a few of ‘em and the rest will get the message.

I say put 4” deck guns on merchant ships...and arm the crews with very small full auto weapons....Mac 10’s or some such...cheap, small and simple.

But I have common sense....the world at large seems to have none anymore. :-/

Pirates have placed themselves in harms way...they deserve whatever a merchant ship crew can manage to dish out for them.

It worries me that the FBI is detaining the crew for questioning.

While this is going on, mainstream media is too caught up in obozo’s puppy.

Can't be done....the Merchant Man would become classified as war ship and denied access to ports. Governments have little concern about what happens on the High Seas since there's no jurisdiction or enforcement other than the US Navy out there.

I figure Quad .50s would be adequate for a while, with night vision equipment.

My suggestion, a squad of Squids, scuba status, five with underwater guns, one with an extra bullet proof vest. Swim to the life boat. Tell the Captain to jump to the Squid with the vest, the other Squids "toast" the a$$holes remaining in the life boat. It is highly unlikely they can't swim anyway. Good guys go home. Bad guys feed the fish. Mission accomplished!

Next set up a chopper sweep. Any junk boat with more than two folks aboard and not looking like fishermen, make a decision and simply toast their buns. An out board running off Somalia with more than a hand full of guys are not out for a "boat rife" and "water skiing", toast them. I'll bet in a week, no more boats with terrorist looking to hijack a ship.

These a$$holes are not out to catch fish.

Contrary to Mrs. Clinton's comments, they are not only criminals, certainly not "Pirates" but are plainly "Terrorists".

So that picture is it. These guys are in the process of bringing commerce to its knees in much of the world.

We deserve to lose.

Perhaps they violated the civil rights of the pirates in some manner?

What is their political motive?

It appears all they care about is the money.

Pirates should be executed at sea once captured.

Yes, and we are all so greatly relieved that the President is receiving "updates", and that the FBI is "involved". Combined, all these NITWITS couldn't "solve" the mystery of the zipper on the front of their pants!!!

Well, we could always take the old “scorched Earth plan”. You tell the pirates if they dont release the Capt and all hostages, we will blow up everything they have, including the hostages. I mean everything, ships, houses, cars, dogs, everything they have.
Cold hearted, maybe, but it would pay off in the long run. It would show that we are no longer talking to them and there would be no incentive to this act.
