Analysis for Sunday, April 12, 2009
First, a blessed Easter and joyous Passover to our believing friends. Me, I honor both traditions as my own and find my greatest joy in this time of year.
On to the shows
It looks like the Obamobots are taking the holiday weekend off and sending out the second line troops to carry their water for them. We also appear to have a semi interesting line up of opponents to counter them. Given fast moving events this could be a major mistake (I hope, I hope, I hope). Im afraid I might actually be tempted to watch this week. Oh, the horror!
A nod is made to the nature of this weekend with Rick (the progressives pastor) Warren and Archbishop (communion for abortion supporters is OK) Wuerl of Washington D.C. Not much of a nod, by my way of thinking.
Serious doubts seem to finally be emerging about the hagiography going on over The One, particularly his recent (miserable failure on his) overseas trip. This weekend might represent cracks appearing in the damn (SIC) of the MSMs mindless support (and cover up). I dont hold out much hope, but there is some small glimmer. It all depends, IMO, on some element in the MSM seeing more benefit to their continued employment (somewhere
anywhere) in bucking the party line from the Ministry of Truth. The next question is will the Obamabots allow such heresy or will they follow the Putin model of suspicious, selective (but unexamined) murders of troublesome journalists?
That could be scary.

I hope to see Chris Wallace ask the Archbishop of Washington why Barack Obama would be looking for a church now, 4 YEARS AFTER he arrived in Washington.
Also, how much of the discussion will be spent blaming the President of France for the death of the French hostage?

To: Bernard
That would be a good question for Wallace to ask, but of course it won’t be.
Alas, I am afraid you are correct about President Sarkozy.
I will try to watch a bit today, but this is Easter and although we went to the Vigil Mass last night, we will probably have family stopping over today.
To: Phsstpok
Happy Easter “P” and thanks for all you do.
