President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama left the White House in a motorcade to travel to a home in Georgetown. Their daughters, 10-year-old Malia and 7-year-old Sasha, traveled in a separate vehicle in the motorcade and also arrived in Georgetown. It was unclear the identity of the friend.
