If Obama can’t even protect an American sailing with just a handful of thugs surrounded by the US Navy, with Seals and others within reach, as isolated as you can be on the high seas, how safe do YOU feel walking your busy streets?

Yes that is what happened. He was recaptured because the orders were not to interfere. If there was s stealth Navy Seals team in the waters very close to the tiny boat where the pirates were they would have taken advantage of this short time where the Captain escaped, freed him and killed the 4 ragtag Somali pirates. I am certain that the Navy Seals would be able to do if they were in the waters close to the pirate boat and if they were given the orders to do so.
