His grandmothers house was one of the few left standing so I'm told. She's still there & it was built by his grandfather.
In fact all his family has moved back there now.
I have never been but need to do so.
His grandmothers garden is legend with the family.
I hear she still tills well into her 80’s.
That sounds like that good Ohio stock. Yep, I was in grade school when the tornado went through. I remember my step-dad showing us the underbellies of the clouds that evening and that they were classic for tornados...and the next morning, we awoke and found out about Xenia.
