That sounds like that good Ohio stock. Yep, I was in grade school when the tornado went through. I remember my step-dad showing us the underbellies of the clouds that evening and that they were classic for tornados...and the next morning, we awoke and found out about Xenia.
We lived in tract housing just off the southern perimeter of Wright-Patterson AFB.
