Maybe others are having DNS problems as well... I even switched DNS servers to Open DNS...still no FreeRepublic. But I can get in using TOR anonymous network.

I use OpenDNS, no problems here. I have found them to be far more reliable and faster than the Comcast DNS servers.
Could be a network problem ...

No DNS problems here in California.

I’m on the TOT anonymous network.
Surfing in using a German ip right now.
Even using Free Republic’s actual ip address can’t get me in without TOR. This is very odd.
