The Pirate Terrorists are racing there because they have NO FEAR of the world order.

Crime is ok if you are a black muslim with an AK47 in a boat. The Pirates are completely below the law.

They know that Obuma won’t do a thing. They’ll drag this crap out as long as they can.

The pirates have sent in reinforements in boats carrying hostages from OTHER countries, eh?

I wonder if NOW - Now that he has allowed this to escalate into a REAL International crisis, our Dip-Shiite in Chief will finally make a "statement" about it HIMSELF, instead of sending out a seemingly enless stream of his lackeys, toadies, henchmen, cohorts, colleagues and sychophantic-lap-dogs to laugh hysterically while talking about it.

Let me see if I got this straight. Normally, the biggest problem in dealing with pirates is finding them. And now they're comming to us?

If only Bush were President!

Two observations:

1.) It was a mistake not to jam the pirates’ satellite phones.

2.) It will be a bigger mistake to let them leave the area with our hostage. (Maybe, just maybe, offer them safe passage in return for the lives of the other hostages.)

What would happen if we dropped a Harpoon missile in the side of the first ship that came anywhere near the area? The pirates would face the inevitablity of being at the mercy of the Navy in minutes. Would they kill their hostages or hope for mitigation? It’s worth trying.

This sounds to me like a great opportunity to rid the world of a whole bunch of these reprobates. Sink everything that comes close.

These people have no fear because we have a Muslim sending the FBI to Negotiate.

Blockade them. Prevent them from going home again. Send in a few more warships.

And we have the “Slow Joe Biden” crisis that everyone will not think Obama responded to correctly.
If they allow these pirates to link up and join together, they have surrendered and Obama will have completed his mission of humbling our military before his fellow mooselimbs.
Were I in charge, the first thing we would do is take away all of their communications ability, and under no circumstances allow any other ship within 30 miles.

That 'international crisis that Obama will be tested with in his first six months as President' Joe Biden referred to turns out to be three skinny Africans in a rowboat.

Obama dodges the crisis with the whole US Navy backing him up. "We're here to talk about housing" will be the memorable, unfortunate glib response stamped on his forehead.

Obama will be yet another skinny African adrift in a rowboat after this.

I think there’s a very high probability those ships are packed with explosives, and their intent is to get them close to a US warship, possibly using hostage transfer or negotiations as a ploy.

Unbelievable story.

The pirates coming to their compatriots aid apparently have read Obama as being a weakling who will allow them to escape.

They have risen the stakes, and now its more critical than ever to make sure that the pirates are all shark feed at the end of the event.

The crisis has escalated because this has been allowed to go on far too long.

Let them all come in and sink the lot of them.

They are not poor downtrodden refugees they are pirates.

Gallery Somali pirates: Pirates Of Somalia

Abdul Hassan carries a rocket-propelled grenade near a small boat with some of his crew. This pirate group, called the Central Regional Coast Guard, was formed three years ago, has 350 men in its ranks and about 100 speedboats

I’m not sure the USS BAINBRIDGE is really the right ship for this mission, since…

- In 1800, William Bainbridge was the one selected to carry “tribute” (bribe) to the dey of Algiers in an attempt (which failed) to get the Barbary pirates to stop capturing US merchant ships.

- After delivering the bribe, Bainbridge allowed his ship to be used by the dey of Algiers to carry the Algerian ambassador to Constantinople, and even allowed them to hoist the Algerian flag on a US warship.

- Then, in 1803, in an attempted attack on the Barbary pirates of Tunisia, Bainbridge ran his ship aground in Tripoli harbor and allowed his entire crew to be captured by the pirates and imprisoned for 2-1/2 years.

Hmmm…
