My plan is with Alltel and we had a similar thing happen - Granddaughter (we gave her the phone when she was 12 and she never went over limit) went to stay for the summer with family in a different state and we didn't know our plan was "Florida".
We could call anywhere from Florida... but roaming charges kicked in where she was staying.. Anyhow we got an $800 phone bill - with one equal to that coming the following month.
We called Alltel, they looked at our account - laughed with us - and excused all the charges. We switched to the Alltel national plan and have been with them ever since. Not all phone companies are bad - ours was great.

That was a great story... There are good rep’s and bad ones in every business (including church and politics) but people only seem to talk about the bad.
Thanks for the GOOD post and Happy Easter.
