As I understand it ,, these Somali pirates are all from one village , give them ransom for the captain and then let an AC130 visit their hometown ...
To: bergmeid
Why not kill the pirates, sink their vessels and destroy their bases on shore?
Isn’t that how it’s done?

Absolutely incorrect.
Zeros complete lack of balls has put his skinny, lawyerly ass in a bind.

More reassurance that we will continue to follow W's policy. Illegal activity by poor misguided youths.

Its our own version a Sum of all Fears, a POTUS that has divided loyalties, afraid to make the break at the starting gate, a gun dog that flinches and cowers when it hears the hunter at his trade.

This is low hanging fruit.
For the low cost of the deaths of a few hundred pirates in Ethiopia, FUBO could establish himself as a “war leader” with little downside political risk.
The media would go crazy in adulation if he attacked the pirate's shore bases.

Never thought I would hear the US Navy called a “remnant of 20th Century US exceptionalism”

“This problem is at sea, but the root causes are on land,” Ahmedou Ould-Abdallah said. He urged U.N. Security Council members to urgently revisit rampant insecurity and instability in Somalia, which has not had a functioning government since 1991.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, now there is a plan. Even sounds kind of familiar. Why don’t we send blackhawks, Humvees, and Rangers?

Jimmuh Carter didn't make us look pathetically weak until near the end of his administration. Zero's determined to do it in the first few months of his time in office.
Celebrate it, and know that it hastens the end of his illegitimate election.

When a young man, Caesar was captured and held for ransom by pirates. All the time he lived with them he promised them that he would kill them. They laughed at him. Imagine their surprise when after he was ransomed he returned with a large fleet and army, captured them, burnt their town and ships and then crucified them all.
