Sgt Ryan Weemer, accused of killing an unarmed man during the battle of Fallujah. Acquitted by a jury of eight officers who had been in combat.
Good thing Jack Murtha wasn't on the jury; he would have likely voted for conviction before the first witness was sworn.
Tell me again how he keeps winning elections. And then fix it, please.

Tell me again how he keeps winning elections. Pork. Pork. And pork. He is a very nasty guy who takes pleasure in insulting his own constituents, whom he referred to as rednecks in the last election campaign.
But he is one of those guys who manages to get re-elected again and again because the greed of his constituents is apparently greater than their sense of conscience or honor or even self-pride.
Well, Little Tommy Daschle finally got thrown out by disgusted voters, in spite of all his pork. Maybe some day Murtha will suffer the same fate.

Murtha, when in the Marines, was an intelligence officer if I recall correctly. (ironically? so was Daschle in the USAF)
I’m sure Murtha was in combat areas , not sure if he ever went ‘Kerry’ or came close.

Now we should go after Murtha. He’s an officer, so he can be recalled COG. Then we can cout-martial for ‘Conduct not Becoming.’ then cashier him and take him off the retirement rolls. Maybe even give him a few years in Leavenworth.
